| planned exclusively for my '91slicktop project. All current AAE exhaust manifold flanges are parallel with the crank. The reason you have not seen 3" V bands connecting dp's on the Z32 is because of space constraints between the turbo housing and the cowl on the driver's side. My manifold design fits the turbo housing 1/2" lower in the chassis allowing: better manifold primary port gating, direct bolt-up, and significantly straighter downpipes than permitted by the stock 3 bolt flange location....and uses 3" V bands to connect test pipes. a few pics to make it clearer:
